The Brief

TMSS are a traffic management company. With an ambitious growth strategy for the next three years, we were briefed to develop a new brand identity which would push the brand forward. Along with a new brand identity they needed their brand story which would help them to raise awareness and communicate their key messages.


We ran a series of workshops to discover their purpose and vision for the brand. TMSS wanted to set themselves apart from other traffic management companies who have often been associated with poor service and careless delivery.

The Idea

We began by defining the strapline for the brand ‘setting a new standard’. This strapline would then become the foundation of everything they do as a business and became the starting point of the visual expression for the brand. The logo – created from traffic chevrons to become a star of excellence. This new logo embodies the idea of setting a new standard and projects a confident message. The chevrons then flow through all of TMSS’s communications, giving a sense of energy and direction.

Changing perception – the team at TMSS became the face of the brand; we used emotive, employee-led photography that engages and reassures the audience.
