The Brief

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice is a children’s hospice and charity based in Huddersfield. Our brief was to bring to life the stories of the families and the work of the charity in a way that would inspire and connect with existing and future supporters.

What we did

When we started to work with the hospice they have no clear brand strategy in place, there was no consistent messaging or identity to their communications. Working with their Head of Marketing we developed the brand positioning and a clear identity to engage with both families and supporters.

We developed a visual identity that combined real family stories with real photography, the colour purple and a simple typography style to create a unique and accessible tone to their brand communications.

Lead campaign

To lead the repositioning of the brand we created a campaign that would connect the lives of the families with the lives of the supporters called #makeamoment. The campaign rolled out across outdoor media sites in Huddersfield and included a train station advertising take-over. This has been their most successful campaign yet and secured the charity a stronger share of voice both locally and regionally.


We have worked closely with Northlight on a number of projects over the past four years. Northlight were instrumental in helping us to update and strengthen our brand, from idea generating to implementation the team did a fantastic job.
